George Clooney Dating Eva Longoria? Actress Denies Rumors

Are George Clooney and Eva Longoria dating? A rumor recently popped up claiming that the Oscar winning actor was attempting to woo the Desperate Housewives star. Longoria caught wind of the rumor and did her best to squash it on Twitter.

Longoria writes that George and her are “just friends.”

Longoria writes: “As interesting as the George Clooney rumors are, they aren’t true. George and I have been friends for years.”

In addition to the “just friends” defense, Longoria also currently has a boyfriend. And no, his name isn’t George. The Huffington Post reports that Longoria is currently “head over heels” in love with her new beau Ernesto Arguello.

But let’s not let little details (facts) spoil all of the gossiping fun…

Clooney, who recently broke up with Stacy Keibler, is reportedly “desperate” to make Longoria his new girlfriend. He was even pursuing Longoria while he was still attached to Keibler. According to The Sun, Eva and George have reportedly gone on several “secret dates” and really enjoy each other’s company.

A source says: “They’re both really smart and have very passionate political beliefs in common. It’s rare to find someone of a similar fame level and of equal intelligence. It’s the full package.”

While that may be true, it doesn’t appear that there is any truth to the George Clooney, Eva Longoria rumor.
