Oprah’s The Color Purple co-star Rae Dawn Chong has just attacked the talk show host in a scathing radio interview. Along with calling Oprah a likely “field n**ger,” she also focuses on the talk show host for being self centered and unapologetic.
Rae Dawn appeared on Matty P’s Radio Happy Hour where she discussed her former relationship with Oprah Winfrey.
According to the actress Oprah was a “lovely” co-worker on the set of The Color Purple. Unfortunately, when Rae Dawn moved on to her next film Commando, things between her and the talk show host turned ugly.
“I starred in Commando. And she just wasn’t having me. She’s competitive. She didn’t like me. She just wasn’t having me,” she said.
Apparently the relationship couldn’t have been any worse as Raw Dawn Chong then began ranting about Oprah’s looks and her likely past:
“If you look at the way [Oprah] looks, she looks like 60 years ago she would have been a house keeper luckily. She would have not been a house n**ger she would have been a field n**ger.”
Here are a few more of the low blows thrown in Oprah’s direction:
- “Shes so enormously insecure. If you wanna distill Oprah Winfrey down to like her most basic components. She wants to be beautiful.”
- “Imagine being [Oprah]. She has all of the world. All the power in the world… and she only wants something that is only chemical, purely impossible.”
- “The thing that’s really great about Oprah that you cant take away from her is that she’s a great brown-noser.”
In a backhanded low blow she concludes:
“No matter how vile she is, you kinda gotta go, ‘hello hats off’ like, you’ve done an amazing thing you have actually shifted the DNA of the universe.”
This isn’t the first low blow thrown at Oprah, and it won’t be the last.
