Enraged Ex-boyfriend Stabs Woman In Front Of Her 8-year-old Daughter
An enraged ex-boyfriend stabbed a woman inside her home as her 8-year-old daughter stood there with fright.
Justin Manns broke into Teresa Nelson’s home in Ohio on Tuesday and started attacking her with a knife. Nelson was able to call 911 for help but could only keep her ex-boyfriend away from her for so long.
“I am afraid for my life,” the 28-year-old mom said. “Please hurry.”
About five minutes into the call, Nelson told the dispatcher that her boyfriend was killing her before the line went dead. The 22-year-old man stabbed Nelson to death before he killed himself.
Nelson’s 8-year-old daughter picked up the phone when the dispatcher called back.
“I think she’s already dead,” the girl cried. “I don’t want my Mommy to be dead.”
Police arrived to the home and found Nelson and Manns lying on the kitchen floor. The 8-year-old girl was hiding in a bedroom with her grandmother. Both were unharmed.
According to police, there was no record of violence between Manns and Nelson, but there was a history of drug abuse and both of them had criminal records.
During the 911 phone call, Nelson told the dispatcher that Manns was angry with her because she wanted to give him back his engagement ring. She also admitted that he threatened to kill himself the day before.
Jenna Morrison, a friend of Nelson’s, was shocked about what happened. She got to know Nelson while serving time in prison for drug charges and said that she was a good person with a good heart.
“I know there’s not much you can do or say to a family when they lose someone like that,” she said. “I’ve lost family members before. I don’t know, just keep people in my prayers.”
The little girl who witnessed her mother being stabbed by her enraged ex-boyfriend is currently staying with relatives.
