Randy Quaid And Wife Evi Arrested For Squatting

The train wreck that is Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaid keeps on chugging with the fallen actor arrested this weekend for squatting.

Randy and Evi are facing felony burglary charges after being placed under arrest Saturday afternoon in Santa Barbara County after Sheriff’s deputies were alerted to the presence of illegal squatters residing in a property’s guest house.

But if that’s not weird enough, the Quaid’s didn’t pick the guest house at random either: they’d previously owned the place but had sold it in 2007. According to reports, the Quaid’s claimed they still owned the place when first discovered on the property.

The couple were also charged with entering a noncommercial building without consent, and Evi also managed a third charge: resisting arrest. Bail was set at $50,000.
