Beyonce yelled at a fan in the crowd who was filming her performance, rather than seizing the moment and simply enjoying her show.
The incident happened in Atlanta, and occurred whilst she was singing her hit song, “Irreplaceable.” Beyonce walked around the crowd looking for people to sing the refrain of, “To the left, to the left, Everything you own in the box to the left.”
However when she offered the microphone to one of her fans for him to sing along to the track, she became furious. Beyonce told the individual, who was holding onto his camera phone and recording the show, “I’m right in your face, baby. You gotta seize the moment. Put that damn camera down!”
She then knocks the camera away from her face and his hand, before once again placing the microphone in his face and asking him to sing along. After he finally performs, she tells him, “Yes, that’s much better.” Earlier this year Rihanna hit an over-eager fan after he wouldn’t let go of her arms during her concert in Birmingham.
Beyonce is set to release new material later this year, however the producer working on her record, Diplo, recently started that she has thrown all of her work out, and is now working on it from the beginning.
Diplo stated, “I just did two songs for her new album, well, I tried. I think she scrapped the record. The record was supposed to be done and they have been hitting me up for the brand new ideas. I like to work from scratch, [but] sometimes I get called in to fix records.”
The producer recently worked alongside Beyonce’s single, “Run The World (Girls),” and he now believes that his songs will never be heard from because of the former Destiny’s Child singer’s decision.
Do you think Beyonce had the right to shout at her fan in Atlanta?
