New International TV Spot For ‘The Wolverine’
‘The Wolverine’ has a new international TV spot. The film starring Hugh Jackman held its London premier on Tuesday.
Twentieth-Century Fox has just released the new trailer and it has never before scenes of the film, which hits theaters in the US next week.
The Aussie star was seen arriving at the red carpet in Leicester Square in a white Audi, still sporting the facial hair he wears in the film.
The 44-yer-old star stepped out of his sports car with a big grin, waving at the fans who came out to see him and ready to hit the ground running to promote his film.
Wolverine is based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Jackman), the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan.
The official 20th Century Fox synopsis is,
n modern day Japan, Wolverine is out of his depth in an unknown world as he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
The female stars gave Jackman a run for his money at the London red carpet. Fans waited for hours to catch a glimpse at the stars of the much anticipated actions film.
Starring Hugh Jackman (Les Miserables), Will Yun Lee (Hawaii Five-0), Svetlana Khodchenkova (Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy), Hiroyuki Sanada (Lost), Hal Yamanouchi (The Way Back), Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee. The Wolverine is directed by James Mangold (Vegas) and hits theaters on July 26.
