Henry Cavill And Zack Snyder Confirmed To Attend Comic Con
Confirmation came that Henry Cavill and Zack Snyder will be attending this year’s Comic Con in San Diego.
The comics convention opens next week and the anticipation always generates great interest.
Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have announced a panel on Saturday to celebrate the man in the red cape. Superman’s 75th Anniversary Celebration, which will now include the latest Superman, Henry Cavill and Man of Steel director Zack Snyder.
The film is approaching the $700 million mark world wide and is the #2 movie of the year in the US, so it’s only fitting that the pair make an appearance.
The Wrap reports that the duo will attend Friday night’s party at the Hard Rock Cafe.
It is also being reported that an original copy of Action Comic #1 will be at the party, on loan from musician Jack White.
Additionally, Zack Snyder’s animated Superman short will be previewed at SDCC.
Henry Cavill has enjoyed the success of Man of Steel and participated in a whirlwind, round the world tour promoting the film. Things have quieted down for the British actor somewhat.
The announcement from Warner Bros. reads,

Join a star-studded panel, including cast, filmmakers, artists and writers from Superman’s illustrious history-from Jack Larson (the original Jimmy Olsen from Adventures of Superman) and first-time Comic-Con panelist Tim Daly (Superman: The Animated Series) and reigning animated Supergirl Molly Quinn (Castle), to comics luminaries Paul Levitz, Grant Morrison, and Dan Jurgens, plus talent from the current blockbuster, Man of Steel — as they reminisce and discuss the beloved character’s many personifications, impressive history, and ongoing relevance within society and entertainment. And courtesy of Mattel and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, all fans attending the panel will receive a special Superman Quick Shots figure!
The Superman’s 75th Anniversary Celebration panel will take place inside Room 6A at 4.15pm on Saturday, July 20 at San Diego Comic Con.
