iHeart Radio Festival Lineup Includes Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, And Elton John
Now that we’re in the middle of summer, festival season is upon us. The lineup for iHeart’s Radio festival has been announced, and it’s a whole lot of pop music.
The musical acts that will entertain on the stage for the iHeart Radio festival were announced earlier today and include talent such as, Justin Timberlake, Elton John, Katy Perry, Chris Brown, fun., Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, and others.
The two-day event will take place in Las Vegas on September 20, and 21, and will be hosted by none other than Ryan Secrest. The venue will be held at the famous MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The other musical acts to join include Keith Urban, Ke$ha, and Adam Lambert who will perform for the late singer Freddie Mercury to sing songs with Queen.
The iHeart Radio music festival is said to be broadcasted live across ClearChannel stations, in addition to being a special on the CW, which will highlight performances during their two-day special set to air on September 30 and October 1.
According to sources tickets for the event will be on sale Saturday, June 20 at 1 pm EST.
To announce the lineup Miley Cyrus, Keith Urban and Ryan Seacrest went on Good Morning America to share the news of the musical acts.
During the announcement Seacrest said of the iHeart Radio festival:
“Book your rooms, make arrangements to be in Las Vegas on September 20 and September 21. Everybody from all walks of life will be there. All different radio formats, and genres of music will be there.”
In addition there’s a never before day side theater, which has never been a part of the iHeart Radio music festival. iHeartRadio was founded in 2008 by Clear Channel Broadcasting as an internet radio platform, which hundreds of radio stations have utilized to air their music.
