Watch: Selena Gomez Say ‘Maybe’ To Justin Bieber Baby Question

Justin Bieber’s declared hopes of starting a family while young may have just been given the green light by Selena Gomez.

During a promotional jaunt to Germany last week to open a new NEO clothing store for Adidas — the sportswear brand both she and Bieber represent — the 20-year-old was asked by an interviewer if she planned on having children with the Canadian star.

A visibly stunned Gomez responded with an eye-roll and mumbled, “Vielleicht.”

Translation? “Maybe.”

While it’s not a solid ‘when’s-the-date guys’ response, that would hardly have been forthcoming in an off-the-cuff Q & A with a reporter.

Although the interviewer ignored a ban on Bieber questions reportedly laid down before the press junket began, it does confirm what we already know —- that Bieber and Gomez are back on.

Last week, following revelations the pair spent Independence Day together and Bieber’s posting of a July 5 Instagram of the twosome captioned “Heartbreaker,”it was reported the on-again off-again sweethearts had reunited after Justin “won” the songstress over by agreeing to “change his ways.”

However, despite Gomez’s “maybe” response to the baby question it’s unlikely she has babies on the brain.

In a recent Observer magazine profile, Gomez reportedly laughed when the word “men” was used to describe her past and present boyfriends — Nick Jonas, Taylor Lautner, and Bieber — and for the foreseeable it looks like the starlet is focusing on her career.

Now back in Los Angeles, the brunette has been spotted at numerous dance rehearsals ahead of her Stars Dance album drop on July 23 and same named world tour which kicks off in Vancouver on August 14.

After receiving good notices in the co-ed heist caper Spring Breakers, Gomez has since wrapped on William H. Macy’s directorial debut Rudderless , and previously said she intends to focus solely on acting once her Stars Dance obligations end.

Bieber also has his hands full. Currently touring North America before dates in Asia, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand, the pop star performed at a reportedly rapturously received concert in Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday and is set to perform at Buffalo’s First Niagara Center tonight.

The singer has also been teasing his much anticipated upcoming single “Heartbreaker” on Twitter.
