Apple Porn Lawsuit Compares iPhone Sex To Human Trafficking
An Apple porn lawsuit is claiming “unfair competition” between iPhone porn and sex with the lawyer’s own wife.
No, really.
Since Apple has been known for its lawsuits against competitors, maybe this Apple porn lawsuit is karma’s “revenge porn” that will balance things a little. Chris Sevier is an attorney in Nashville is suing Apple for millions because Apple devices can view porn over the internet.
The Apple porn lawsuit alleges the lawyer is a “victim of Apple’s product” because Apple didn’t bother to warn him about the damage that pornography causes. Further, the Apple porn lawsuit claims Apple devices affected “the quality of the Plaintiff’s life” and he “sustained these unwarranted damages in the course of using Apple’s product as designed.” This is claimed because Apple doesn’t provided “safety features that would have otherwise blocked unwarranted intrusions of pornographic content that systematically poisoned his life.”
So what is the exact damage caused by Apple’s evil porn surfing Safari? Chris Sevier claims Apple should “know that a man is born full of [hormones] and attacked to by women engaging in sexual acts with the intent to cause vicarious arousal.” Sevier became addicted to porn and his wife, “who was no longer 21,” became undesirable compared to those “younger, more beautiful girls.” The mental distress became so great that Sevier ended up in the hospital.
The Apple porn lawsuit alleges that Apple’s negligence is “lead[ing] to American girls traveling abroad to be abducted and cast into sex trafficking.” Worse, “unregulated Internet porn is hurting brick and mortar or ‘mom and pop’ porn shops.” At the end of the day, Sevier is demanding Apple include a built-in porn filter for all its devices, from the Macs to iPhone to iPads.
Despite the Apple porn lawsuit being slightly off kilter, do you think Apple should include anti-porn filters with Safari for Macs and the iPhone?
