Amanda Seyfried Talks Sex, Ex And ‘Lovelace’ [Video]

Actress Amanda Seyfried will soon be sizzling on the big screen in Lovelace, and took the opportunity to discuss attraction, sex, and her ex Dominic Cooper in a recent interview.

The 27-year-old Les Misérables star had a pretty frank and straightforward answer when asked in Elle how attraction works for her. You’ve probably heard it said before that attraction can grow over time, but Seyfried wouldn’t agree.

“Everybody I’ve dated I’ve been sexually attracted to immediately,” she said. “Sparks don’t grow—your vagina doesn’t become more inclined to wanting someone just because you’re around them.”

Interesting! She also talked a little bit about her relationship now with ex-boyfriend Dominic Cooper.

“We love each other… He’ll always be in my life regardless of what his girlfriends or future wife think. I’m never going to be with a guy that can’t deal with my friendship with him.”

Amanda Seyfried stars as Linda Lovelace in the upcoming film Lovelace, a biopic about the star of the pornographic film Deepthroat who was said to be victimized by the industry. It’s a bold departure from the wholesome and “innocent” image she has cultivated in her filmography thus far.

But from the interview, it sounds like Seyfried is at that perfect place to take a risk:

“I read the script and I was like, ‘Wow, this is the riskiest thing that’s happening [in Hollywood] right now,’ ” she said.
