Anna Benson Arrest Yields Bizarre Details [911 Call Audio]
New details from Anna Benson’s arrest have emerged, and boy are they bizarre.
The former baseball WAG allegedly showed up on estranged husband Kris Benson’s doorstep wearing a bulletproof vest and waving a gun, demanding a large sum of money from the athlete.
Benson was also clad in all black, and that she was carrying a knife and a baton. Police also recovered a hatchet, a taser, ammunition, a bag of syringes and some pills.
According to Anna Benson’s arrest report, she demanded $30,000 from Kris. He told her he was going to go get his wallet, but ran for the basement instead and called the police. He then escaped into the nearby woods.
Cops finally showed up and found Benson sitting on the back porch smoking cigarettes. They told her they had received a 911 call, to which she responded “He’s a f—ing p—y.”
She also said she was wearing the vest “because it was a new model she was testing for a company’’ and that she needed “to get it to mold to her body.”
Benson also admitted to destroying Kris’ computer with her baton and that she had contemplated going after him, but overall she “didn’t understand why we were making such a big deal out of this.”
Anna Benson’s arrest might be a sad and strange conclusion to an already screwball tale. Originally a stripper, Anna achieved minor fame by marrying Kris Benson, whose own career began to suffer. He retired in 2010 on a losing track, and had opined that his wife had become a distraction to him.
She was dubbed “Baseball’s hottest housewife” by FHM nearly 10 years ago, appeared topless in Penthouse, and had a show for one season. Kris filed for divorce last year.
