George Clooney And Stacy Keibler Broke Up Over The Phone

George Clooney and Stacy Keibler broke up over the phone. According to several reports, the couple were half a world apart when they decided to end their relationship.

TMZ claims that the couple had been growing apart for the last three months. Clooney was busy working on a film in Europe, and Keibler was stuck in Los Angeles working on a new TV show.

George Clooney won’t finish filming in Berlin until December, and snoops claim Stacy Keibler decided she couldn’t handle a long distance relationship for another five months.

A source close to the couple claims, “Both sides realized there is no way to have a relationship when you don’t see each other.”

Clooney and Keibler allegedly came to a mutual decision that the relationship wasn’t working, and they broke up “like adults” after a long discussion.

The snoop says of Clooney’s reaction the the breakup:

“He was very respectful, adult about the situation … he reminded Stacey that they were friends before they dated and wants to be friends after.”

A report by US Weekly claims that the couple hadn’t had sex in months, and another insider claims:

“She knew he wasn’t looking to get married. But there was always that fantasy that he would commit. Sadly, it just ran its course.”

In regards to the situation, a US Weekly snoop says the decision has been coming for weeks:

“Stacy and George have been having ongoing discussions in the last few weeks. It wasn’t a one-sided decision. No one got dumped. They both discussed it and realized it was better that they split.”

George Clooney and Stacy Keibler have been linked to one another since appearing at a red carpet event in July 2011.
