Paula Abdul To Guest Judge On ‘So You Think You Can Dance’
Paula Abdul is finally going to judge people again. The singer will be appearing as a guest-judge during tonight’s episode of So You Think You Can Dance.
According to TV Guide, the former American Idol host will be a guest judge during tonight’s episode of So You Think you Can Dance.
Executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe was thrilled with the news saying that he’s been waiting 10 seasons to get Paula on the show.
Lythgoe wrote on Twitter: “I can hold back no longer. One of our guest judges this week has the initials. P.A… Yes Paul Anka is guest judging. It’s the girl I’ve waited ten seasons for.”
Rumors have been floating around for years that Paula Abdul would join the cast of So You Think You Can Dance. The singer, who got her start as a dancer and choreographer with Janet Jackson, was rumored to be joining the official cast after her departure from Idol in 2011. That never happened but SYTYCD fans have been hoping that Paula would at least make a guest appearance.
After starting her own show, Live To Dance, and doing a guest spot on Dancing With The Stars, Paula has finally found some time in her schedule to appear on So You Think You Can Dance.
