George Clooney And Stacy Keibler Not Done Just Yet

Hold your horses, celebrity gossip mags. George Clooney and Stacy Keibler aren’t broken up just yet, though it might be coming to an end soon.

Major publications have been reporting all day that Clooney and Keibler have decided to end their two year relationship (heck, even we reported it). Though details on the split haven’t exactly been forthcoming, TMZ reports that the relationship isn’t actually over … yet.

Sources say that Clooney and Keibler are still living together, and that their relationship is still technically “on,” though both seem to understand that things are troubled.

Even though they haven’t been seen together since March and spent the 4th of July on opposite ends of the Earth, it’s still going, people. Don’t put a fork in these two yet because you might get the chance soon.

The reason they’ve been apart so much lately is the same reason they might actually break up. They’re just busy. Clooney is busy being Clooney, and Keibler has a whole new plate of responsibility with Supermarket Superstar.

The distance has apparently taken a toll on the relationship and the two are growing apart.

Earlier, People reported that Keibler had broken thongs off with Clooney, but not for reasons of distance.

“She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that,” a source reportedly said.

Another source alleged the same:

“George is quietly backing away from the relationship. It’s ­always the same. As soon as he feels a woman is getting too close he pulls back.”

Because distance is too realistic a reason for a couple to split up.
