Watch Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest Live Online

Today is the Fourth Of July and that can only mean one thing: It’s time to eat some hot dogs. Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest will broadcast live online today starting at 12 pm from Coney Island.

According to ESPN, the women’s hot dog eating contest will start at 11:25 EST. The men’s contest will follow shortly after at 12 pm.

Joey Chestnut is the odds on favorite to win this year’s contest.

Chestnut set the world record when he ate 68 hot dogs and buns in ten minutes at the annual contest last year. Chestnut has won the Fourth Of July event six years in a row and is hoping to claim his 7th title today.

For the women’s competition, Sonya Thomas will be trying to defend her title.

Sonya, also known as the Black Widow, set a women’s world record last year when she ate 45 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes.

The Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest has been held on Coney Island every Fourth Of July since 1916.
