Ireland Baldwin Lands First Magazine Cover

Ireland Baldwin is a cover model.

Baldwin, the daughter of Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin, started her modeling career earlier this year and has now landed her first cover thanks to Modern Luxury Magazine.

The 17-year-old wears a white bikini and carries a surfboard on the cover of the July 2013 issue of Modern Luxury’s Beach Magazine. Baldwin modeled a few more swimsuits for photographer Justin Jay which can be seen in this month’s issue of the magazine.

Baldwin signed with IMG Models earlier this year and has already appeared in a few publications. She appeared in the NY post earlier this year and will appear in Elle magazine this September.

Baldwin said that she eventually sees herself as an actress but said that she wants to earn her place in the spotlight first.

Baldwin said: “I want to do everything the right way … Rather than getting involved with different projects and films that I’m not ready for and starting off on the wrong foot, I want to work my way up.”
