Sandra Bullock Talks Getting Naked For ‘The Proposal’ [Video]
Sandra Bullock talked about getting naked for The Proposal.
Sandra Bullock says she won’t get naked for anything serious, because she thinks it’s funny. That’s right, the Heat star says she’ll only shed her clothes for comedy.
Although Ryan Reynolds most likely wasn’t bothered in the slightest about seeing his costar running at him in the buff in The Proposal, it never would have happened if the movie had been about something serious.
Sandra Bullock stated on the Graham Norton Show, alongside fellow guests Samuel L Jackson and Nick Frost, “There’s nothing funnier than two naked bodies slapping together. There’s nothing sexy about it at all – it’s funny. It’s not like your hug. It’s not intimate.”
Basically, Sandra Bullock thinks naked bodies are more slapstick than serious, and even Samuel L Jackson was taken aback, “You don’t do naked in the serious, only in the funny?”
Sandra Bullock answered in the negative before explaining herself further, likely before minds flew any further into the proverbial gutter:
“On film, not in real life! If you’re having sex and you get recorded, and you don’t know you’re being recorded. My guess – not that I’ve ever done this – is that you don’t look good doing it! I can’t imagine, that someone would look good whilst having intercourse not knowing they’re filmed. But you notice, anytime someone has a sex tape, it’s beautifully lit, they got the good angles, it’s like, ‘that’s right,’ over the shoulders are great … Who does that? Who does that?!”
Samuel L Jackson replied that he has friends who do that, probably just to make conversation, but he’s never been one to back down from the controversial. It seems Sandra Bullock was probably a bit nervous talking about sex scenes in a room predominantly occupied by men, but what woman wouldn’t be? On the other hand, Sandra Bullock didn’t exactly seem shy about it. After all, she had married Jesse James…
What do you think of Sandra Bullock saying she only gets naked when it’s funny, like in The Proposal?
