Matthew Morrison, ‘Glee’ Star, Engaged To Model Renee Puente

Heartthrob Matthew Morrison is officially off the market. The Glee star is engaged to model Renee Puente.

According to Us Weekly, Elton John and David Furnish announced the engagement last night at the former’s White Tie and Tiara Ball just moments after Morrison popped the question to his lovely 26-year-old girlfriend.

Morrison and Puente have been dating for two years. The 34-year-old actor recently opened up about his sexuality, pouring cold water on the rumors that he is gay despite being a “song and dance man.” He revealed that along with being straight, he is deeply in love with Puente, and that he believes she is the one.

When asked about the most romantic thing he’s ever done for her, he said:

“Wow. Hard to pick just one thing. We are really both into horses. Every new city or place we go, we always try to find a place to go horseback riding. One time in particular, after our horseback riding, we went along this beach in Hawaii. I set up this nice little picnic. We just had a beautiful day surrounded by the things we love: nature and each other.”

Morrison hinted that his past working on Broadway led to a number of romantic relationships and random hookups. He told Details:

“There were all these beautiful, beautiful dancers. As a straight guy I had some room. There were the shared interests in singing and dancing, and I always find dancing with someone very erotic and sexual. I definitely hooked up with a lot of girls when I was a young guy on Broadway. It was fun, I guess.”

Morrison was engaged to actress Chrishell Stause in 2006, but their relationship ended in 2007.
