LeBron James Almost Decapitated By Low Bridge In Front Of 400,000 Miami Heat Fans On Victory Parade [Video]
LeBron James was almost decapitated in front of 400,000 fervent Miami Heat fans during the team’s victory paid through the city, when their bus encountered a series of low bridges.
For some reason the route saw the Heat’s star-man and his fellow rather tall teammates, eleven which are as tall as 6-foot-8 inches, come face to face with a series of low bridges as they stood on top of a double decker bus.
Thankfully they were all aware of the impending disaster with LeBron leading the calls for everyone atop of the bus to “get down!” or risk losing their heads and their lives.
An obligatory LeBron Cam was set up to follow the two-time Finals winner, and as he chomped away on a cigar it became plain to see that there was trouble ahead.
James was at the front of the bus with sons and Juwan Howard, and as he thanked the thousands of people on the streets who had all come out to cheer the team, the bus went under three consecutive overpasses, each of whim had a 14-foot-6 clearance.
LeBron had to duck each time, but he found the entire ordeal funny, and it couldn’t dampen his spirits. LeBron told Sun Sports, “It’s the ultimate. This is what I came down here, to be able to have a parade at the end of the year.”
He went on to add, “I’m extremely blessed, man. It doesn’t get any better than this. All the fans that we’re seeing here is who supported us throughout the whole season, man. This is the least we could do is ride through the city and show our appreciation.”
LeBron James has helped lead Miami to two championships in as many years, but it would have been a lot harder for him to have completed his hattrick if he’d lost his head.
