San Francisco Giants Fan Shouts At Dad For Failing To Catch Foul Ball [Video]
A child furiously erupted at his father at a San Francisco Giants game after he failed to catch a foul ball at a baseball game on Sunday afternoon.
A line drive was fouled and headed straight for the father who prepared himself to catch the ball, only to see it ricochet off his chest and back down into the stand below him.
The commentator was originally worried that the ball might have hit the child, as he stated, “That little guy almost got whacked!,” but then it became clear that the infant was furious at his father for dropping the ball as he repeatedly smacked him in the chest.
His co-commentator then notices his anger, stating, “He’s wearing the old man out for missing that line drive. High expectations of that little guy. It almost knocked the old man down.”
It was then noted that even the man’s wife has annoyed with his failure, whilst he then explained to those sat near him that it hit his shoulder and fell into the bleachers. The commentators then defended him, pretending that he was telling his fellow Giants fans, “A normal guy would be in a hospital right now, but not me.”
The kid’s furious little punches to his father’s body probably didn’t hurt him physically, but they must have destroyed him mentally as it is every child’s dream to receive a foul ball at a game.
Commentors on Youtube were quick to point the blame at the kid himself, stating, “The kid had the glove, why didn’t he catch it?” Whilst another also called him a “little brat,” and another stated he needed an “old fashioned belt spanking.” All of which seemed a bit harsh.
The Marlins went on to win the game 7-2, at AT&T Park in San Francisco. Do you think you could have caught that ball?
