Princess Beatrice Visits New Academy In West Yorkshire [Video]
Princess Beatrice visited the new Trinity Academy school in Halifax, West Yorkshire on Friday to take a tour and speak to its students. The state-of-the-art academy made quite the impression on the 24-year-old as she took to the brand new classrooms and let it all sink in.
After taking a tour, she gave a quick speech to the students, without notes, before continuing her meet and greets at Huddersfield University and the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
“I have never spoken to this many people before. It is quite amazing,” she said in her speech. “I’m so honoured to be here today. I’m so honoured to see this amazing place.”
She went on to show her appreciation for everyone at the Trinity Academy school and even said “I wish I came to a school like this.”
“You’re so lucky to be in an academy like this, to be in a school like this, where everything can be brought together, where young people can be taught these amazing life skills in this incredible space,” Princess Beatrice added when talking to the school’s students.
After a few laughs and a round of applause, the Princess carried on with her busy schedule on Friday. Her stop at the academy was full of activities including visiting science classes, watching a performance by the school’s cheerleaders, and she also took a liking to the art-and-design studios.
Later in the day, she attended a luncheon and fashion show at Huddersfield University after unveiling a scultpure at the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. She was also recently seen sporting an interesting, and somewhat over-the-top, giant hat at the Royal Ascot.
No matter where she is or what she has in store for the day, all eyes are always on the Princess while she greets onlookers and gives the occasional speech.
Could you handle an extremely busy schedule like that of Princess Beatrice with all the attention and photographers following your every move?
