The 7th Heaven cast members are feeling the repercussions following Stephen Collins’ alleged child molestation confession. After the announcement of the allegations against Collins’, known for his role as Reverend Eric Camden, 7th Heaven rerun episodes began to be pulled from stations including UP TV and TVGuide Network, and now many members of the cast will begin to lose their residual paychecks.

According to TMZ , Caryn Moss , mother to Niki Saletta and Sam Saletta, both of whom had reoccurring roles on the hit show, 7th Heaven is claiming that because the reruns have stopped airing, their residual paychecks will stop coming and they will soon feel the financial burden that Stephen Collins’ allegations are causing for many.

The decision to pull 7th Heaven reruns wasn’t taken lightly considering it is still a popular family show. In a statement to US Weekly last week, UP TV President Charley Humbard claimed that the show was a “beloved family show and fan-favorite” for the network.

“As a top family-friendly network, we are deeply concerned for the families that are potentially affected by these disturbing allegations surrounding actor Stephen Collins. 7th Heaven has been a beloved family show and a fan-favorite on our network. We have made the decision to remove the series from our schedule effective at 5 p.m. ET today.”

While Moss says that Niki and Sam’s residual paychecks weren’t huge amounts, she went on to say that they (the paychecks) “will surely be missed.” Major stars of the show stand to lose upwards of six figures annually in residuals since the 7th Heaven reruns have stopped airing according to PEOPLE .

While his costars stand to lose quite a bit because of Stephen Collins’ child molestation allegations, it is Collins’ himself who is feeling the brunt of the financial fallout. Because of the allegations against him, Collins’ was fired from both the upcoming film Ted 2 and ABC’s Scandal .

According to an earlier report by the Inquisitr , a new victim allegedly was identified as a preteen babysitter who watched Collins’ daughter on a regular basis. The report stated that in an email exchange between Collins’ now estranged wife and a woman who is believed to be, but who has yet to be positively identified as the babysitter in question, the young woman alleges that Stephen Collins once tried to get her to touch his penis when she was only 14 years old.

Many have been affected by Stephen Collins’ child molestation allegations including his alleged victims, his family and now his 7th Heaven family. Stay with the Inquisitr as more details on the case become available.
