Beyoncé’s “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” is an economic force to be reckoned with.
The singer, who is currently on a break having recently wrapped the European leg, earned millions on that segment of the tour alone.
Back in April and May, the “Grown Woman” star played a six-night residency at London’s 02 center as part of her tour, performing to over 97,000 fans during those dates.
But if you think the audience figures are impressive, the ticket receipts are no slouch either. Beyoncé pulled in $9.7 million in gross sales from the 02 shows.
Just days after her London stint, the 31-year-old headed north to Manchester to play three concerts at the city’s Arena. That triple hit raked the star an additional $4.65 million in gross sales according to Billboard’s box score report .
Cutting to it, the numbers reveal Beyoncé is generating between $1.55 million and to $1.6 million per show in gross ticket sales. The whole tour will take in 65 dates, which puts our favorite female hustler on track for a stonking $100 million (plus) haul in ticket sales.
The diva resumes her gross domestic product, scratch, “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” on June 28 when she kicks off the stateside leg. Although the end date of her global trek was originally August 5 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, a new final September 13 show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil has now been added.
Bringing up the revenues’ rear, the singer has just launched a new, limited-edition of her Heat fragrance specifically created to tie-in with “The Mrs. Carter Show tour.”
The new scent is reportedly “sweet and powerful” with notes of pink pepper, acia, mangosteen, florals, vanilla and Australian sandalwood.
It adds to the previous trio of fragrances in the collection, Heat Rush , Midnight Heat , and the OG Heat . “I love my music, I love performing, and most of all, I love and appreciate my fans,” the singer announced in a release, “I wanted to give them a special remembrance of this tour, and I created this scent to reflect the power, passion, and playfulness I put into my performances.”
No doubt the new scent will boost Beyoncé’s already brimming coffers. But, after taking a gander at some of the online clips from the tour, we have to say it looks like King Bey earns every dollar.
