Justin Bieber Hears Truth In ‘Yeezus’ Album, Stage Surprise At Cody Simpson Show [Video]
Justin Bieber may be “still messed up” from tour jetlag. But last night, he came out to support his friends. And it seems somewhere along the way he heard truth in Kanye West’s new, and just leaked album, Yeezus.
The 19-year-old kicked off his Friday telling fans on Twitter it was time to “let the fun begin.”
Doing the rounds at not one but three music events, Bieber hit Australian pop star Cody Simpson’s show at L.A. Live Club Nokia.
Simpson, 16, supported the “Beauty and a Beat” singer on his Believe tour and is currently on his own “Paradise Tour.”
Last night, the Biebs returned the favor.
Joining Simpson onstage for one of his most popular hits “Pretty Brown Eyes,” the two heartthrobs delighted the crowd with Bieber throwing his shades into the crowd at one point and donning a flower garland hurled by fans.
Simpson later tweeted his appreciation for the teen’s superstar’s surprise stage drop-in, writing:
“LA what an incredible show. Words can’t even describe aye. Everyone’s so stoked. Thanks to my dude @justinbieber for coming on stage too.”
Bieber also gave Simpson some approving feedback.

Next up on Bieber’s to-do list was a swing by L.A.’s Milk Studios for a listening party featuring West’s Yeezus, which was missed by the rap demagogue due to concerns that girlfriend Kim Kardashian was about to give birth. (Update: and later did).
The session was just one of many West has held over the past week for his sixth solo album, amid video installations projected on buildings, TV performances, peaking speculation, and an excellent in-depth interview — of all time, naturally.
But while West is a divisive artist to many, whatever Bieber heard last night he loved. Some time after the session the Canadian tweeted the rapper, writing:

And Bieber’s night didn’t end there.
At some point in the evening, the pop star and friends made an appearance at Young Money rapper Tyga’s release party for his album Hotel California held at the W Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard.

In other Bieber news, the singer recently teased his new single “Heartbreaker” online, and from tweets posted, has been recording plenty of new material.
Meanwhile, extra dates have been added to the Believe tour, with Bieber hitting the road again from June 22 onward in San Diego.
West’s album Yeezus, officially goes on release on June 18.
