Tim Tebow Patriots Jerseys Go On Sale

Tim Tebow fans can now add another jersey to their collection. The New England Patriots have recently added Tebow’s No.5 jersey to the official team store.

Tebow signed a two-year contract with the Patriots this week and has already joined the team at training camp. The former Florida Gators / Denver Broncos / New York Jets quarterback will likely be the third string quarterback for New England but that won’t hurt his jersey sales.

Tim Tebow had the 13th highest selling jersey last year despite the fact that he rarely played for the Jets. Tebow probably won’t outsell Tom Brady the way he did Mark Sanchez but the Patriots are still hoping to see a sales boost from the former Mile High Messiah.

The team even sent out an email yesterday urging fans to check out the new $99 jersey.

A message on the official team store reads:” Tim Tebow has come to New England, and here is your chance to be the first fan to wear his jersey! The Nike Tim Tebow Game Jersey-Navy is a scaled down version of the home jersey worn by player himself.”

The adult men’s jersey has a $99 price while the women’s jersey is $5 cheaper. Youth jerseys can be purchased for $64. The jerseys are available for pre-sale now and will ship out within the next three weeks.

Tebow hasn’t played a down of football for the New England Patriots yet and it’s still unsure how Coach Bill Belichick will use the “not good enough to play quarterback” football player. But that doesn’t mean that the team can’t profit off of his jersey.
