The Big Bang Theory won awards for best comedy series, best supporting actor (Simon Helberg), and best supporting actress (Kaley Cuoco) during Monday nights Critic’s Choice TV Awards .
While that top rated CBS comedy series was an obvious selection in the comedy category, it wasn’t the only big winner.
As fans tuned in fo r the Game of Thrones finale and the final season of Breaking Bad, those shows managed to share a joint best drama win.
Game Of Thrones and Breaking Bad managed to beat out other crowd pleasers including Downton Abbey , Homeland , The Americans, and The Good Wife.
On the British side of the awards ceremony, The Hour received three nods including best mini-series, best actress (Romola Garai), and best actor (Dominic West).

The comedian turned TV showrunner had an amazing year, at one point earning $1 million from a “pay what you want” comedy album release.
