Britney Spears Hits The Studio, Starts Working On New Album
Britney Spears is back in the studio working on her new album.
The singer, who has been working on a song called “Ooh La La” for the new Smurfs movie, tweeted today that she was back in the studio working on a song “for all my boys.” The singer didn’t give any other details, but she’s probably working with William Orbit and Naughty Boy.
The two producers had an interesting an exchange on Twitter today and dropped a few hints about their involvement in Spears’ new album.
Naughty Boy wrote: “@WilliamOrbit it’s about to get toxic! can’t wait to get started sir!”
Orbit added: “@NaughtyBoyMusic Ooops, she’s gonna do it again!!!”
A leaked demo version of the song “Ooh La La” was leaked on the internet last month, and Spears may be in the studio putting some finishing touches on the track. Or, she could be diving into some new material for her eighth album. After all, Will.i.am, the executive producer for the new album, did say that recording would start sometime this month.
Will.i.am said that he’s hoping to make this Britney Spears’ most personal album to date.
The producer said: “I wanted to just go to lunch for two months, which is totally different from how you typically do it. I said, ‘Let’s talk about what you’re excited about. Let’s talk about things you’ve done in you career, what you’re happy about. Let’s talk about spending time with your kids, let’s talk about your breakup. Let’s talk about how now you’re single, how independent you might feel … I’m really excited about that and honored that she trusts me. I don’t want to let her down.”
