Bruce Jenner Only Met Kanye West Once, Says He’s ‘Never Around’ [Video]
Bruce Jenner and Kanye West apparently aren’t spending a whole lot of time together.
During a recent interview, Jenner said he’s only met the controversial rapper once. Although West knocked up Kim Kardashian and asked for her hand in marriage, it would appear that Bruce and Kanye aren’t exactly close.
“Actually, I’ve only met him once. He’s never … he’s not around. He was in Paris the whole time writing and he just hasn’t been around,” Bruce Jenner told Maria Menounos during a chat on Extra.
Jenner was on the show to promote the upcoming season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Judging from his remarks about Kayne West, fans of the rapper shouldn’t exact him to show up on the program anytime soon.
Even Brody Jenner admitted that his relationship with Kanye West is practically non-existent. Although his stepsister is marrying the rapper, Brody said he’s never shook the man’s hand.
“I’ve never met him. But Kim says great things about him. And so does the entire family,” Jenner explained during his appearance on Extra.
Does all of this talk from Brody and Bruce Jenner suggest that Kanye West will be an absentee father? Sources told the folks at E! Online that West intends to show up for Kim Kardashian’s baby shower next month. Several of her family members will reportedly be in attendance as well.
“He’s so excited to see them all and introduce Kim to some of [his family members] that she hasn’t met,” an insider explained to the website.
Even Khloe Kardashian believes that Kanye West will be at the baby shower. Although he’s only met Bruce Jenner once, Kim’s sibling believes the rapper will be hanging out with family members at the event.
“It’s girls, but Kanye will come at the end. I think Scott [Disick] and Lamar [Odom] might bring Kanye at the end, because Kanye feels it’s a little weird if he’s the only guy,” she explained.
