Barack Obama Tied To IRS Scandal By Weekly IRS Commissioner Visits Claims Critics
Barack Obama knew of the IRS scandal and was “deeply involved” if Barack Obama’s critics have anything to say on the subject.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the Barack Obama approval rating seemed to be scandal proof at first. Benghazi and the AP/Fox News scandal didn’t put a dent in Barack Obama’s public popularity.
The IRS scandal is the only potential Barack Obama scandal with an alleged connection directly linking President Obama to IRS actions. The National Organization for Marriage claims the IRS allegedly leaked tax documents to the Obama reelection campaign to use against their political enemies. Obama’s family even received special treatment by the IRS, including an Obama charity approved quickly by the IRS. The exception is the case of one Obama cousin who criticized Obamacare publicly and suddenly found himself audited by the IRS only to lose his job. But Barack Obama denies knowing anything about all these IRS scandals.
Senator Orin Hatch (R-UT), a member on the Senate Finance Committee overseeing the IRS, believes Barack Obama knew of the IRS scandal:
“They claim the president didn’t know anything about it. It’s hard to believe, since people in the White House did. It’s pretty difficult to believe. It’s a serious set of problems. It never should have happened. But that’s what happens when you have partisans running the bureaucracy — and in this particular case, it’s pretty apparent that these are partisan Democrats.”
Dick Morris points to the weekly visits of IRS Commissioner Douglas Schulman as proof that Barack Obama was involved in the IRS scandal:
“The incredible frequency of the White House visits — essentially weekly — indicate that Obama must have been deeply involved with the inner workings of the audits and harassment of conservative groups,” says Morris, who claims other people would have been in attendance if there were other issues being handled by Barack Obama. “Not ObamaCare. Not without having (Health and Human Services) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in attendance, you wouldn’t. About Treasury issues? Deficit reduction? Not without Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner.”
Do you believe Barack Obama was involved somehow in the IRS scandal?
