3D Ebooks Could Arrives In A Few Years…Give Us A Break!

We totally understand that children love their pop-up books, but is it really necessary for our e-Books to go the way of Hollywood movies? According to Gizmodo that’s the plan and it could be arriving sooner rather than later.

3D e-Books will work much in the same fashion as 3D movies, by requiring special glasses. At this point South Korean scientists have developed books that require users to tilt the books in order to operate properly, which is rather quite annoying.

Kim Sang-cheol of South Korea’s Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology says that “it will take a while to market this technology to the general public.” If their technology doesn’t end up on e-Books it could still find use in medical equipment and on various Smartphone and Tablet devices.
