Justin Bieber Returns To Twitter, Pouts Up A Storm For Adidas NEO [Video]
Justin Bieber has returned to Twitter, trailing adidas NEO, new music teasers, and a seemingly intact sense of humor.
Taking a week’s hiatus to regroup after a public booing at the Billboard Music Awards, here’s a snapshot of the prodigal one’s timeline since.
Greeting his 39 million plus Twitter followers with a simple “Hi,” the 19-year-old got stuck into retweeting euphoric messages from the faithful who’ve had to content themselves with cat Instagrams in the interim.
After explaining that he “just needed to take some time for myself,” Bieber later teased anticipation for his upcoming track with Young Money rapper Tyga.
Not surprisingly, alleged vehicular activity — detailed here — didn’t make the cut on the singer’s feed. But, he did say he was “excited about the music.”
No doubt so are Island Def Jam Music Group and a few Beliebers.
Bieber also retweeted a short Vine clip from Modern Family’s invariably funny Eric Stonestreet, who spotted the singer at a Staples Center ice hockey game on Tuesday.
And there was more.
Following up his appearance in adidas NEO’s interactive Spring lookbook, the teen heartthrob pouts up a veritable storm for the brand’s Summer 2013 NEO collection.
Jaunty edits, less than epic background music, fail to detract from the youthful appeal of the 1:01 clip. Voguing like a pro, everyone’s favorite Canadian flexes muscles on arms yet to be covered with Koi carps, tigers and a reportedly back on gal pal, plays the drums, ping pong, jumps over things, displays impressive ball skills and generally fills the screen with his swaggy self.
As the good folks over at MTV Style note, it makes a pleasant change to see the teen singer swapping his recent leather on leather fixation for casual togs. With not a drop crotch in sight, it’s adidas NEO summer tanks, T-shirts, long shorts and denims galore.
Oh, and a chain necklace. Come on, it’s Justin Bieber. There was always going to be a chain necklace.
Bieber is currently on a break between tour legs, having completed the first leg. The second North American leg resumes from June 22 in San Diego. Tickets for additional Believe tour concert dates in Australia, Asia and South America are expected to go on sale within the next two weeks.
