Kordell Stewart Denies Locking Porsha Williams Out Of Home

Former NFL player Kordell “Slash” Stewart is denying his estranged wife Porsha Williams’ claims that he locked her out of their marital home.

Last week, Williams claimed that Stewart locked her out of the home on several occasions, and that she had to have her lawyer call his people to ask for a key, which she never received. She also claimed that she tried to work things out with Stewart, but he blew off a mediation session and called it a “waste of everyone’s time.” Williams is now asking a judge to either force Stewart to allow her to use their home, or give her enough money to find a “suitable alternative residence,” since she is now living with her mother in Atlanta.

Stewart, however, is refusing to help out his soon-to-be ex-wife. After previously saying that she is “an able-bodied person” who is “capable of supporting herself,” Stewart is now claiming that Williams’ version of events is far from the truth. He said the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is using the “locked out” story as a way to “make herself more marketable in the media.”

Stewart says he sent Williams a text telling her that he was changing the locks days in advance. He said he did it for security purposes, and that he told Williams to give him a “heads up” if and when she needed to get into the house. Stewart said he told his lawyer to give Williams a copy of everything she needed to gain access to the home, and that she could get her belongings whenever she needed to. He also said that Williams makes a lot of money and that her “financial negligence” is why she is struggling right now. Stewart said the reality star spends her money on “grooming and clothing items” instead of bills.

Kordell Stewart is also asking a judge to deny Porsha Williams’ request for temporary relief. The couple would have celebrated their second wedding anniversary on May 21.
