Julianne Moore’s Toes Cause A Stir At Cannes [Video]

Julianne Moore’s toes caused a bit of a commotion during a red carpet appearance at Cannes.

The actress was at the film festival’s Opening Ceremony dressed in a lovely lilac Dior dress. Unfortunately for Moore, people were distracted by what was happening with her feet.

According to the New York Post, Julianne Moore’s toes were crammed into a pair of uncomfortable-looking shoes. She recently addressed the situation during her appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

The English Teacher star admitted that she had no idea her toes were the center of attention until she checked Twitter the following morning.

“”I didn’t feel a thing — not a thing. I felt fine! I was just walking along, like, ‘Hi, I’m at Cannes’ and my toes are hanging off [my shoes]!” Moore explained to Fallon.

Judging from the pictures posted over at the Daily Mail, it’s easy to see why the actress’ feet were so popular during her trip down the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. Although she looks amazing in the Dior dress, it’s hard to see anything else once you realize her toes are jutting out in all directions.

In order to prevent “Toemageddon” from happening all over again, Julianne Moore joked that she planned to have all of her toes removed for future events. She even brought Fallon a box containing her severed toes.

“I needed to prevent this from happening again. So I cut my toes off,” the actress joked.
