Katherine Webb Eats Around 1,120 Calories A Day


Katherine Webb says she only eats around 1,120 calories a day.

The Miss Alabama became the center of attention last year after ESPN announcer Brent Musberger couldn’t stop talking about her looks. Since everyone seems interested in how she stays so thin, Webb recently decided to share her dieting secrets with the world.

In addition to an exercise regimen, Webb explained that she only eats around 1,120 calories every day. She added that maintaining her diet is all about “self control.”

According to the folks at People, Katherine Webb tends to keep things light and simple. The publication says that an average menu consists of “homemade smoothie for breakfast, green apple for snack, spinach salad with almonds and strawberries for lunch, frozen yogurt bar for snack, and grilled chicken fingers with sweet potato fries for dinner.”

Although she’s managed to adhere to her diet, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Webb doesn’t feel the urge to cheat. She admitted that avoiding certain foods is sometimes a struggle.

“I try my hardest not to even consider getting something like pasta. I cut out any type of bread product, and cake, cookies, bagels. When I eat a lot of sugar, I tend to bloat more,” she told the magazine.

She added, “I try my hardest not to stress myself out. If I find myself thinking too much about what I eat, then I go crazy.”

Not only does Katherine Webb watch what she eats, the former Splash contestant said that she goes to the gym at least three times a week. While Webb said she intends to start free weights one day, it would appear her secret to exercise is lots of cardio. She explained that this “tends to trim fat faster than anything for me.”

According to the Daily Mail, exercising that much while only eating 1,120 could be potentially dangerous. The Fast Metabolism Diet author Haylie Pomroy believes that Webb should be eating at least 600 more calories per day.
