’30 Rock’ Star Married, Tweets Informal Announcement And Bikini Photo
30 Rock star Katrina Bowden got married Sunday to 29-year-old Armor For Sleep former frontman Ben Jorgensen at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in New York.
The romantic Jorgensen tweeted a picture of the aprés-wedding champagne with the comment: “Life is worth it because love is here if we want it.”
Jorgensen appeared to be over the moon about the marriage to the 24-year-old 30 Rock beauty, earlier tweeting the question, “Is there a cloud 10?”
The couple told US Weekly that they planned the wedding themselves and that the Botanic Garden was the only site that they even considered.
According to Katrina Bowden, her happy new hubby was extremely helpful in planning the wedding. She walked down the aisle to what was described as “a string-quartet version of Aerosmith’s ‘Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing'” — and she gave Jorgensen the credit — or was it the blame? — for that musical choice.
The pair was engaged for a year and half before yesterday’s somewhat rainy ceremony.
Apparently, being a 30 Rock star doesn’t pay as well as you’d think. The couple also set up a gift registry website to allow guests to help fund their honeymoon in Hawaii.
Ticky, tacky if you ask me, but nobody did.
