Three Teens Charged With Rape: Posted Video On Facebook

Three teens have been charged with raping a 12-year-old and posting the video to Facebook. The young girl was held at gunpoint and raped by Scandale Fritz, age 16, Kenneth Brown, age 15, and Justin Applewhite, age 16. Authorities in Chicago have arrested all three boys.

The assault reportedly happened in December last year. Fritz invited the girl to his home to talk. When she walked into the house, she noticed Brown and Applewhite were there as well. Fritz took the girl into the basement of his home and asked her for sex. When she denied his advances, he allegedly raped her.

As reported by the Chicago Tribune, the girl was raped and sodomized by Brown, who then called for his two friends to come downstairs. The other two boys joined Fritz in the basement, taking turns raping the girl.

Fritz filmed the the assault and later posted it to Facebook. In the film all three boys are seen raping the 12-year-old girl. A gun is visible in Browns hand, pointed at the girl as she was raped.

The girl reported the assault to police and was examined at the hospital. However, it took five months before the three teens were charged with raping the 12-year-old.

Days after the assault, the video reportedly showed up on Brown’s Facebook page, and was later posted by the other two boys. Prosecutors have stated that Fritz admitted recording the film.

As reported by Chicago Sun-Times, the girl told the boys no two times, but gave in when Brown showed her the gun. She told police that all three boys are gang members, and she feared for her life.

All three teens charged with raping the girl are currently being held on $900,000 bond. They have been charged as adults. Their next court appearance is scheduled for June 6.
