Maxim Hot 100: Disney Stars Reign In Top 10
The Maxim Hot 100 was officially released on Thursday and the Top 10 is ruled by Disney stars. Miley Cyrus was named Maxim’s hottest girl of the year while three other Disney treasure’s finished in the Top 10.
Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, and Vanessa Hudgens gave Disney the spotlight with four of their own right near the top. Miley Cyrus takes the crown after coming in at No. 68 in 2012.
It was a great year for Selena Gomez as she stunned viewers with her performance in Spring Breakers, which led to finishing second behind Miley in the Maxim Hot 100. Ashley Tisdale came in at No. 7 while her High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens finished ninth.
Miley Cyrus was very excited to be named the hottest girl of the year, and she even took to Twitter well before the announcement to express how thrilled she was. She poses in the Maxim Hot 100 cover wearing a gold monokini with her hair slicked back.
“If feels amazing to be the No. 1,” the 20-year-old told Maxim. “It’s every woman’s fantasy to be told she’s No. 1 on Maxim’s Hot 100! So crazy!”
Miley Cyrus is now the newest member of “the hottest women in 2013,” as Mila Kunis was named FMH’s sexiest woman and Gwyneth Paltrow was given the honor by People Magazine; except she was named the most beautiful woman in the world.
Kunis came in at fourth on the Maxim Hot 100 list while Gwyneth Paltrow didn’t make the cut. The most surprising member of this year’s list is Manti Te’o’s imaginary girlfriend, who came in at No .69.
The recently drafted NFL star was “catfished” by a man who Te’o believed was his girlfriend Lennay Kekua. It was all a dream, and that dream has turned into a reality on Maxim’s Hot 100 list.
Other notables in the Top 10 were Rihanna, who came in at No. 3, and Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence who rounded out the Top 5.
