Rodman Rips Obama For North Korea, But Is The President Doing The Right Thing?
As Dennis Rodman rips Obama for North Korea, we have to wonder whether President Obama is doing the right thing in its treatment of Kim Jong-Un’s regime.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Dennis Rodman ripped Obama, saying the President “can’t do sh*t” when it comes to North Korea:
“We got a black president [who] can’t even go talk to [Kim Jong-Un] … Obama can’t do s**t, I don’t know why he won’t go talk to him. … Obama? F**k him!”
US citizen Kenneth Bae was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor in North Korea. Dennis Rodman says, “I’m gonna try and get the guy out. It’s gonna be difficult.” Rodman already tried once asking Kim Jong-Un to release Kenneth Bae, but North Korea says the US citizen is not a bartering chip.
Even as Dennis Rodman rips Obama North Korea is still maintaining some of its missiles in their launch positions. North Korea has a long history of saber rattling in order to get United States Presidents to make concessions or fork over money. But this time Kim Jong-Un wants North Korea’s nuclear status officially recognized by the world and all sanctions dropped. Despite the opinion of Dennis Rodman, that’s not something President Obama could, or should, do.
This time, President Obama, the United States, and the world are taking a stand, not willing to give an inch with any concessions. Even China, historically the backer of North Korea, has decided enough is enough and grabbed a North Korean bank account’s money being used to fund weapons programs. Unlike Islamic nations like Iran, North Korea’s motive is maintaining money and power, not the desire to blow their enemies to kingdom come and self-destruct in the process. So, in this case, not negotiating with North Korea has been a long time coming.
As Dennis Rodman rips Obama, what do you think should be done with North Korea?
