Reggie Bush And Lilit Avagyan Welcome Baby Girl

Reggie Bush and fianceé Lilit Avagyan welcomed their first child together on May 6.

Avagyan gave birth to a girl, her rep said. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces.

The Detroit Lions running back began dating the dancer in 2011. He confirmed that she was pregnant in October 2012.

“I have a little one on the way,” Bush said on the Paul and Young Ron Morning Show. “We’re pretty excited!”

Last month, Bush wrote on the Lions’ team blog how he planned to balance playing football and being a first-time father.

“The baby will be in LA. Well, she’s going to be in LA because her family lives 15-20 minutes away from us. So she’s going to need that support system while I’m here for a few days out of each week. Then I’ll be home,” Bush wrote. “Depending on which week it is, I’ll be home on a Thursday or a Wednesday and come back here Sunday. I’ll just have to deal with travel. I’m going to rack up a lot of sky miles, I know that.”

Bush added, “I’m very excited. Very excited about the baby. It’s our first one and couldn’t have come at a better time … It couldn’t have come with a better person. Someone I really love and care about. It’s great. It really worked out perfect.”

Could that last statement be a dig at ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian, who is also expecting her first child with new boyfriend Kanye West? After all, it was reported that Bush thought Kardashian was “disgusting” for hooking up with West, and sources said the NFL player never really trusted her. Kardashian responded that she was always looking for a serious relationship, and that Bush only used her for sex.

Incidentally, Avagyan kind of looks like Kardashian, and she’s Armenian as well. But that could just be a coincidence.
