Kanye West’s Met Performance Lifts Up Kim Kardashian And Slams Her Haters [Video]

Kanye West’s Met Gala concert included a song about girlfriend Kim Kardashian, in which he bragged about his honey while she smiled from the audience.

Us Weeklyreports that West sang about how “awesome” Kim is, serenading her with her very own song at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

According to an eyewitness, “The audience was jamming to it. Kim was smiling and loving it.” Coco Roncha, who attended Kanye West’s Met concert, posted a Vine of the performance on Twitter.

“Kanye telling Kim not to worry what anyone says that she’s awesome. Quite touching really,” Roncha wrote.

The Examinerremarks that West was probably encouraging Kim in spite of the criticism she has been receiving over her maternity style lately. Kim confessed that Ye is pretty sensitive about media criticism aimed at her in a recent interview.

“My boyfriend also gets so defensive,” Kim said. “and he’ll call and say, ‘Who’s saying mean things’ and I’m like, “Don’t worry about it.” I’m so used to it.”

At Met, Kim wore yet another interesting outfit. She wore a head-to-toe floral print dress, which some fashion opinion-makers have criticized for looking too much like an old sofa.

Interestingly, Kim may have been trying to impress Kanye’s pal Anna Wintour, who has made no secret of the fact that she doesn’t care much for the Kardashian family. What’s even more interesting is that Wintour wore a floral-pattern gown to the Met Gala as well, which has raised a few eyebrows.
