Miley Cyrus Tops Maxim Magazine’s Hot 100 List
Miley Cyrus has topped Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list.
Although the list has not been officially released by the publication, this hasn’t stopped the former Disney darling from revealing the news on Twitter.
The singer and actress also made the announcement on her Instagram page. The news was accompanied by a photograph of Cyrus decked out in a gold bikini with matching jewelry. The look she’s giving the camera seems to suggest that she’s perfectly content with her position at the top of Maxim’s annual list.
The Instagram account is apparently brand new. Miley Cyrus kicked things off by dedicating the post to all of the fans who have been loyal to her over the years.
“My first Instagram is dedicated to all my fans. Thank you for crowning me number one [on the] Maxim Hot 100,” she captioned the post.
In addition to topping the Maxim Hot 100 list, the singer recently appeared on the cover of Elle UK. This marked her first major cover shoot in the UK. In true Miley fashion, the actress decided to do something “edgy” with the folks at the publication.
She said of her experience with the magazine:
“‘Elle UK’ is really cool and it is a little different. I think it shows a different side of style that I feel is really me. It’s a bit punk and a little more edgy. It’s really cool to be able to shoot this as I haven’t had the chance to do much for the UK like this yet.”

Cyrus also used her 10-page spread to discuss a number of hot-button issues. In addition to dishing on her relationship with Expendables 2 star Liam Hemsworth, she took a moment to talk about the problems that fellow singer Justin Bieber is currently facing.
