Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee Arrested For Soliciting Male Prostitute
Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee has been arrested for soliciting a male prostitute.
The 46-year-old, whose real name is Calvin Lebrun, was arrested while trying to pick up a male prostitute at Madison St. and Broadway in Bushwick just before midnight Thursday. The gigolo, however, was an undercover police officer. Mister Cee was charged with patronizing a prostitute and was waiting to be arraigned Saturday.
This is not the first time Mister Cee has been popped for picking up a prostitute. On March 30, 2011, Cee was arrested for receiving oral sex from another male in a parked car. A complaint was filed by Officer Lindsay Agard, who wrote that Cee was caught with his “exposed, naked, and erect penis” in the mouth of a 20-year-old man named Lawrence Campbell.
Initially, Mister Cee denied the allegations, saying he wasn’t in a car with anyone when he was detained by the police. After MTV confirmed the arrest report, Mister Cee tweeted that the “NYPD has a detective squad after all Rappers & DJ’s.” He also tweeted, ” ‘I’m Taking Notes’ all those that wanna jump on the NYPD bulls**t bandwagon i will remember ‘ALL NAMES’ *Shots Fired*”
Mister Cee later claimed that he didn’t have a Twitter account, although Hot 97 and MTV reported that the tweets were from his account. He later pleaded guilty to a charge of loitering for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.
Mister Cee was arrested for the same thing in October 2010, and pleaded guilty in that case as well.
Neither incident cost Mister Cee his radio gig with Hot 97, and program director Ebro Darden said the issue would be addressed in the morning on Monday, May 6. Darden tweeted:

Mister Cee is best known as the DJ for Big Daddy Kane during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was also the executive producer on the Notorious B.I.G.‘s 1994 debut album Ready to Die.
