Caroline Kennedy Selling Martha’s Vineyard Plots

Caroline Kennedy is selling two plots of land at Matha’s Vineyard.

The prime real estate offers spectacular views, an excellent vacation destination and access to the Atlantic Ocean. All of that can be yours for a measly $45 million.

The listing reads: “Simply magnificent is the only way to describe this pristine oceanfront parcel … Rolling dunes, Squibnocket Pond views, Atlantic Ocean views … a blank slate for your dream home.”

Yep, that $45 million is just for the land. No house included.

The Boston Herald reports that the first property, named lot 6, offers 40 acres of waterfront property with “incredible views of Squibnocket Pond.” That property is listed for $20 million. The second piece of land is slightly larger with 50 acres of beachfront and another 60 acres of oceanfront. That property is listed at $25 million.

In addition to buying a gorgeous piece of property, the land will also put its new owner at the social center of vacationing celebrities. In addition to being a neighbor to the Kennedy’s, major celebrities and political players, like president Obama, frequently visit the area.

The property going up for sale was originally purchased by Jackie Onassis in 1978. A house, where Caroline Kennedy currently lives, was built on about 106 acres of the land. The remaining land was divided into six lots. Caroline was given three and the other two were reserved to expand the Kennedy estate.
