Tim Tebow To The Dolphins? Miami Not Interested In Former Jets QB
Tim Tebow will not be heading to the Miami Dolphins.
The former Jets QB is currently looking for a job (he’s been offered positions in the lingerie football league and an indoor football league) and a recent rumor pointed in the direction of the Miami Dolphins.
A team source denied the rumor saying that the Dolphins were not interested in the former Jets QB.
The rumors started when agent Drew Rosenhaus said that he could see Tebow playing in Florida next season because owner Stephen Ross is a big fan of the Mile High Messiah. But Ross seems to be the only fan in the organization. The Dolphins passed on Tebow last year when he was put on the trading block, and a team source said that the Dolphins quarterback situation was already set for next season.
So, no, Tebow is not visiting the Dolphins, he’s not working out with the team, and he’s not on the team’s radar.
The Dolphins have Ryan Tannehill set to start his second season for the Dolphins and Matt Moore as the team’s backup. Tebow wouldn’t really have a place on the team unless the team plans to use him as a marketing ploy.
But, after the fiasco in New York last year, well, it doesn’t seem like any team would be stupid enough to grab Tebow merely to sell jerseys.
Where do you think Tim Tebow will end up? Should he join the lingerie football league?
