Madonna’s Daughter Debuts Green Hair

Madonna’s daughter recently debuted her green hair over the weekend.

Proving that the apple doesn’t fall too far from the proverbial tree, 16-year-old Lourdes Leon was spotted on the streets of New York City with a head full of green hair.

However, Madonna’s daughter didn’t go completely green. Her natural brunette color was streaked with emerald.

Considering the controversial singer is known for changing her hair on a whim, chances are she doesn’t have much of an issue with her daughter’s decision to go green. However, Madonna did tell People that she needed to be a stricter parent.

“We all have our challenges. To be a single mother of four and to work as much as I do, with my life in a kind of metaphorical fish bowl, it’s pretty challenging. But so far I’ve survived with sanity and humor intact,” she explained to the magazine last year.

She added, “I’m probably not as tough as I should be. I think I need to be maybe tougher.”

Proving that she’s grown up a bit since her more rebellious days, Madonna and fellow singer Elton John recently ended their long-standing feud. John explained that the pair even had dinner together to prove that the turbulent waters had been calmed.

“We were in a restaurant in France in the summertime. She came in, and I sent over a note. She was very gracious. I apologized profusely because what I said should never have appeared in public,” the “Candle in the Wind” singer explained.

He added, “She accepted our apology, and then we bought her dinner. That’s over and done with.”

Elton John understandably irritated the Material Girl when he referred to her as a “fairground stripper.” However, apparently that’s all water under the bridge.
