Miley Cyrus Sets Record Straight On Engagement, Offloads On Justin Bieber

In a new interview with Elle UK, it seems Miley Cyrus had a lot to get off her chest.

The 20-year-old dished on a laundry list of things including her relationship with Liam Hemsworth, her lady bumps and even Justin Bieber.

Contrary to some reports, the platinum-haired one isn’t having doubts about her engagement, the couple have just decided not to put their love life on blast.

“We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed,” says the singer-actress.

“But we keep our relationship low-key,” she adds, “and don’t talk about it any more.”

And despite numerous pictures of Cyrus in incredibly short shorts that leave little to the imagination, she put the record straight on how just how far she’s prepared to ‘go’ in public.

“A star is someone who doesn’t have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power,” the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer explains.

She continued: “Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that’s not just showing your t**s.”

“I don’t want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and it’s all about their clothes — or lack of clothes.”

Older and seemingly wiser, Cyrus is philosophical about life in the lens and now says she likes to keep some of her life out of the spotlight.

“We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight — into my life and my puppies and my house — and I just don’t feel they get that privilege any more,” she declares.

Perhaps with this new policy in mind, the singer recalled some advice she once gave Bieber, who is both her friend and one-time duet partner.

“I noticed he was taking all these photos of people and doing a lot of sh*t, and I just grabbed him and said, ‘Just take a snapshot in your brain of this moment, so you don’t forget,'” she recalls.

“I don’t remember my Hannah Montana movie premiere and my 3D movie trumped everyone’s at the box office.

“I don’t remember being there,” Cyrus adds. “All I remember from that night is that I stopped and got a strawberry milkshake beforehand. That’s all. It’s crazy. You think you’re in the present but you’re not.”

Pretty existential right? Who would have thought the former Hannah Montana star had it in her?
