Aniston Wedding Delay: Actress And Justin Theroux Postpone Wedding, Still ‘Madly In Love’
A Jennifer Aniston wedding delay could be on the cards, with the actress and fiancé Justin Theroux supposedly at loggerheads over the size of the ceremony.
The former Friends star is reportedly keen on a large-scale ceremony with a long guest list, while Theroux prefers a smaller, more intimate affair.
A friend of the couple told The Daily Mail:
“Jen and Justin have been totally relaxed about the wedding planning. They’re looking forward to the wedding, but they have different ideas about the actual wedding itself.
“It’s not to do with them as a couple, they’re madly in love. Every time you see them they’ve got their arms around each other. Jen wants something bigger with all their friends, Justin would just like something a bit more intimate. At this point, we’re expecting the wedding to be at the end of the summer, just before Labor Day Weekend.”
News of a Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston wedding delay will come as a surprise to many. In February, the couple were reported to have finalized their wedding plans, having settled on a smaller, intimate ceremony.
Reports said the pair would be getting married after Aniston had finished production duties on her upcoming movie, Call Me Crazy: A Five Film (for which there’s a trailer below).
Other rumors have suggested the pair may get hitched on an African safari.
The actress admitted last week that planning her wedding was not something she looked forward to. Speaking to Life Style magazine at the Call Me Crazy premiere at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Aniston said:
“[It’s] something that will probably come together at the last minute. [Too much planning] might make me crazy!”
When asked whether she’d settled on a dress, she added:
“No, no, no. I don’t have a dress. I like to be very spontaneous.”
Aniston and Theroux, who have already snapped up a $21 million marriage pad, announced their engagement last summer.
