Reese Witherspoon Arrested For Disorderly Conduct After Jim Toth Gets DUI

Jim Toth and Reese Witherspoon were arrested this weekend for driving under the influence and disorderly conduct.

According to Variety, Toth, Witherspoon’s husband and agent, was pulled over early Friday morning when police became suspicious that he was driving under the influence. Toth was reportedly swerving over the double yellow line before he was pulled over.

When talking to police, Toth and Witherspoon were less than cooperative. The police report states that Witherspoon was hanging out the window yelling at the officers saying that she did not believe that they were actually members of the police force.

The report reads: “Mrs. Witherspoon began to hang out the window and say that she did not believe that I was a real police officer … I told Mrs. Witherspoon to sit on her butt and be quiet.”

Witherspoon then reportedly tried to use her fame to intimidate the officers.

The report reads: “Mrs. Witherspoon asked, ‘Do you know my name?’ I answered, ‘No, I don’t need to know your name.’ Mrs. Witherspoon stated, ‘You’re about to find out who I am.’ Mrs. Witherspoon also stated, ‘You are going to be on national news.’ I advised Mrs. Witherspoon that was fine.”

Jim Toth and Reese Witherspoon have not commented on the arrest.

E! News reports that the duo were released on bond on Friday at about 3:30 am. They are scheduled to appear at the Atlanta Municipal Court on Monday morning but their lawyer is expected to ask for the court date to be postponed.
