‘Ready For Love’ Pulled By NBC After Two Episodes
Ready for Love has been pulled by NBC executives after airing only two episodes.
The reality show from producer Eva Longoria followed three bachelors as they attempt to find the love of their lives with the help of matchmakers. It would seem that the network isn’t too interested in helping them out; the program is already off the schedule.
The show, which was hosted by Bill Rancic and Giuliana Rancic, only aired twice before network executives decided it was time to move on. Despite some strong numbers right out of the box, Ready for Love will be pulled after next Tuesday’s episode. It’s unclear when or if the additional episodes will air.
During its short run on NBC, the romantic reality show only managed to pull in around 3.5 million viewers. Although the show was scheduled after The Voice, it still couldn’t draw people into the fold.
NBC will reportedly fill the void left by Ready for Love with Grimm. The show will air on Tuesdays at 10 pm beginning April 30. It will stay in this position until the end of May. The network will move Dateline to Fridays at 9 pm on April 26.
The Tuesday evening time slot has been problematic for the folks at NBC. Following the conclusion of Parenthood, the network has struggled to find a show to takes its place. While Smash held the spot for a short period of time, the program struggled to find an audience.
Fans of Ready for Love may be wondering if the three bachelors featured on the shgow ever found the love of their lives on the program. Unfortunately for the people who actually tuned in, NBC has stated whether or not the guys ever found the perfect woman.
Were you a fan of NBC’s Ready for Love? Are you disappointed that the show has been pulled from the network’s broadcast schedule?
